Still March and blogging again.......

I'll use green since it is still March. What did you do for St. Patrick's Day? I have a nephew and a niece that set traps for the leprechauns that come to their house. I'm not sure where that started, but we have done the same thing. We didn't catch a Leprechaun this year, however, we did see their tracks. The things that we teach our children, and that they learn more about later and learn that we lied to them. I hope they won't hold it against me, in this case hold it against their Uncle John and Aunt Stacy since that it where it came from.

Now, I don't know if I will make it to 100 like Nicole, but will try later too. Sorry Nicole to take your blog ideas. This is just a good journal for me. I love it, and wish I did it more often.

Okay, day #2, the follow up.

My first graders were too cute. I got presents, and they sure will miss me, actually I will miss them too. My son Ronnie is in the front 2nd from the left. It was not fun teaching my own child. We do much better in school apart from one another. Talk about manipulation.
The week before we moved to Silver City, we stayed with my parents, grandpa Rod and Grandma Kaffy. Our house had already sold and I was staying to teach one more week, at the school, before the kids went on spring break. It gave the new teacher a chance to shadow me and my class for a couple of days. We went to the park a lot that was by grandpas house. He's a good grandpa.
A day at the Phoenix Zoo with friends from Yuma, that we will never live by. But still friends. It wasn't too hot, but you know what, I have been to 3 different zoos this past year and there are never any animals out when we go and they are always working on the best exhibits. So why go? Well, it still entertains the kids even if they don't see any animals. They loved the goats, that we can always see at our Bishops house, with out going to the zoo.

Now it is February and time for another kids birthday. Lil Ronnie is turning 7. I can't believe he will be baptized next year. That was only supposed to be for older families. Okay, so that means Im becoming an established family, I get it. Anyway, this time a cheaper birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza. The tokens however could have been, well lets say, it would have been cheaper to give each kid a ten dollar bill to spend at Target or something.

Okay, so now I will send this web sight to a few who may want to see the updated version of what has happened this past 6 months. We have just been so busy. Maybe I will try a blog like Lindholms, oh wait, that is companion talk how about Nicole Skidmore's. What to know about me? That will definately fill a page or two, or three. Not sure there will be any photos of that past though. Too ancient to put on my computer. Bye for now.

Been Missing Awhile, Why?

Okay, I still can't figure this all out. So, Start at the bottom of the blog, and I'll do another one to finish tomorrow. See ya. Most of my 3rd grade class on our field trip to the Science Center. Where we saw a cows eye be disected. Good thing I don't teach a real science class. Gross, but interesting. They are a hand full, but I do miss them.
My good friend and what I have closest to a sister, Nicole Bos, now Nicole Moll with her baby Zoe came to visit as well. She is great. And Lindholm, do you recognize her? We had a great time. How does she get so tan in Washington?
a family christmas photo. With the step part too. we even had family from back east to join us. It was a great christmas and everyone was here. During this photo shoot, the lady taking the photos fell into the water pond and ruined all the pictures before this one. We were all stunned and had to use our personal cameras to finish the photo shoot. It was sad, but we did laugh after she started laughing.
We love to go to grandma's house in Eager Arizona. She has quads that we love to ride too. This was our most recent family photo. We don't have too many. It was a little chilly there, and now here in Silver City it is very chilly too. A big change from the recent 80 in Arizona. It was only 40 degrees here today.
We love to go to the Sand Dunes, in California, near Yuma. We spent Thanksgiving there and had a ball. Im looking for some dunes here in New Mexico, so we can have just as much fun. I love to ride the sand rail, and also the quads. Lil Ronnie would like one of his own, just not sure I want to take that chance on his life yet, just my own life, lol.
Our dogs, Ginger (shitzu/yorkie) and Jazzy Boy (shitzu) had puppies in November. We had 4 of them. They were so cute. This is a picture of Daddy Jazz, and one of the puppies. We hated to get rid of them, but they did bring us some good christmas money. And as of right now, we think that Ginger is soon to be a mommy again, just in time for some vacation money. They were so cute.
In October I worked and ran the shops for a place called Schnepf Farms. It was really fun. But many hours. This kids liked to come all the time and hang out around the farm. It was kind of like a carnival and fall festival too.
My little Lacy, is a fireball. She has heard a few bad words in the recent past, and she always says, "sh..t is a bad word right, and F..ck....n is a bad word too?" Right. I always say yes, so dont say them. She is cute, but has learned a few bad things in day care. Now Im in this little town of Silver City and staying home again, and so she is with me, and hopefully she will kick her habit. She is going to be 4 this summer, and I can't believe it. She is getting so very big. Too big.
Shelby had a birthday in Sept. She turned 5. She is now in Kindergarten and didn't start until Jan 2007. She loves it and is ahead of her class despite starting half way through the year. She also had her appendix out this Feb. She is a tough little gal. By the way, if doing a cheap birthday part with only a few kids, don't do it at Build A Bear. It will not be cheap. I learned that the hard way. Afterwards.
Okay, we also went camping with the new ward in Yuma, that never really became out ward. I love to go camping and can even set up the tent by myself. We made a rope walkway across a little creek too. I should have been a boy scout. LOL.
We had a family and cousin outing to Amazing Jakes. It is a fun kid zone with games, rides and food. Needless to say, the picture shows it all. Im the fun aunt. It was a little scary and even the 2 yr old rode this ride. He wasn't really supposed to and I had to hold him on. I rode it 3 times, to get all the neices and nephews a ride with Aunt Kara.

Okay, so here goes. I have been gone a while. I started teaching 1st grade, and then went to 3rd grade after winter break. Also, my hubby almost died in a car wreck, he was the only one involved. Then, we were supposed to move to Yuma, Az, and because of the wreck, he lost his job. He went back to work for Qwest in March, 2007, and we moved to Silver City, NM. Big changes, I Know. Tell me about it. Wait, I'll just update you all on what's going on. Here goes, and a possible attempt at photos too. we'll see.

okay, that first photo, was from October, we went to Imperial Beach, CA. A favorite of ours. My whole family went, including the step- family as well. We had a great time. Daddy did not go, only for one day, as he was still in the border patrol training in Yuma. That was only 2 hours away, so he came for a day. Here is another attempt to add a photo. okay, this is going back words. I will upload all the photos and then talk about them. How's that. This is hard stuff, LOL..
